A readership survey conducted in January showed that 51 percent of those who read this site are owners of horses, breeders, trainers or employed dircectly in the racing industry. Sixty-three percent are bettors. Among bettors, 57 percent had a preference for live attendance, 47 percent preferred to place wagers via the Internet and eight percent preferred an off-shore platform.
